The Universal Laws of the Twenty Count

xperiment1

While in my 30’s I had experiences of  waking  at night and  would be viewing another dimensional time and space, one in which I was seeing the universal language of the Twenty Count. This fascinated me as I was not familiar with it. Through my studies of shamanism I became aware of the Twenty Count system.  In his book , Shamanic Experience,  Kenneth Meadows gives his readers an understanding of it’s origin as a ancient system of numerology.  He goes on to say that some researchers attribute it to the Inca civilization of South American, but believes it to be much older, and I also feel this is the case. This Twenty Count system had many applications and was a means of describing the primary powers affecting the Earth, and it’s relationship to different life forms, and of explaining aspects of the human condition.

Meadows explains further that “the Twenty Count was sometimes called ‘ the Children’s Count’ because of its simple way of using only two symbols — a dot and a bar — and because it could be demonstrated easily with the fingers and thumb of one hand.  A single dot represented 1, two dots 2, three dots 3, four dots 4, and so on.  The numbers 1 – 10 primarily concerned the Tonal reality of mortal and everyday life, while the numbers 11 – 20 were related to the immortal Nagual realities of spiritual life. Apart from a qualitative value, each number had a directional value and a place on the Medicine Wheel, which added further meaning to whatever was associated with it.  In the Native American cosmology the Medicine Wheel mandala was used as a tool to teach how the universe worked.”

Please find below a brief interpretive analysis of the indications of ‘connections’ made through the Twenty Count numbers from Kenneth Meadows work.  All such insight’s and knowledge is personal and comes through your own shamanic understandings.

About Joan Ravenhawk

I am a natural born psychic and empath, who as a toddler recognized my parents from past life soul journeys. My memories as a child was that of traveling back and forth through a tunnel (third eye chakra) to my home on the other side. During my adolescent years I experienced seeing the Ascended Masters and would be given written messages that scrolled across my inner vision each night. Later, they would reappear to initiate me into the Great White Brotherhood of Light. In the 1980's I experienced a spontaneous past life recall which propelled me onto a new path in life, one as a serious student of esoteric knowledge. I have studied and worked with many discipline's including; Yoga, Tao, Chinese Medicine, Reiki and Shamanism. It is my mission to help develop greater understanding of our own natures as well as our interconnectedness to all life forms in the greater community of our beloved Earth Mother and Cosmic Families.
